In response to the forthcoming changes in the National and European legislation on data protection, ORAK Engineering has carried out in-depth research and made the necessary changes in its software, tailored to the branch of all its clients. This will allow a company using our software to bring its technology into line with the GDPR General Regulation!

The deadline for companies to take action against the requirements of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) expires on May 25, 2018. If the activity of your company involves the storage of any data for customers, partners and employees, you must comply with the requirements of the new regulation, which leads to urgent changes in the information system that we implement

The General Data Protection Regulation (or the General Data Protection Regulation) concerns any EU business that stores personal data in its masses. The requirements are complex and the fines for non-compliance are high (up to 4% of the total turnover of the organization or up to 20m euros). The EU data storage requirements introduced by the GDPR are related to organizational and technological measures as well as measures for storing the information in the information system implemented by ORAK.

What are personal data? Personal data is the data by which a person can be identified, such as name, gender, age, personal ID, email, direct phone, photo, bank details, IP address, etc. The value of personal data is often underestimated but, in fact, it is one of the most valuable assets for any business that poses significant risks in improper storage!

  • ·to learn about the subject of processing their personal data;
  • ·access to your personal data;
  • ·to correct mistakes in your personal data;
  • ·delete your personal information;
  • ·to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data.
